Largent Lecture in Museum Studies
The Largent Lecture in Museum Studies brings leading museum professionals to the Baylor University campus to discuss current issues in the field. While at Baylor, lecturers participate in museum studies courses and give a free public lecture.
Co-hosted by the Department of Museum Studies and the Mayborn Museum Complex, the Largent Lecture in Museum Studies is named for Blanche M. Largent, whose passions were Baylor University, museums, and her children’s glass collection. A portion of Mrs. Largent’s extensive glass collection is on exhibit in the Mayborn Museum’s Blanche M. Largent Tea Room.
