Job Placement
The Department of Museum Studies at Baylor prepares students for employment in museums of all sorts and sizes. Our graduates are regularly hired for entry-level jobs at a variety of museums in Texas and across the country. The master's degree is the highest degree in Museum Studies; however, anyone considering graduate work in this area should be aware that further academic work may be needed to rise to senior positions. This is true especially in large urban art museums, but also some museums of history and science.
