What is your favorite museum?
Choosing a favorite museum is as challenging as naming a favorite book or favorite movie! All of these can vary by genre and change over time depending on your current phase of life. If I saw Clueless for the first time today, would I love it as much as I did when I was 12 watching it at a sleepover having just finished reading Emma? Will a romance novel serve as a suitable replacement when you are in the mood for a thriller? Is my love of natural history museums driven by my daughter’s obsession with rocks? Here are some of my (current) favorites categorized by genre:
Favorite Children’s Museum: The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
Favorite Art Museum: Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum
Favorite Historic House Museum: Molly Brown House Museum
Favorite Natural History Museum: Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
Favorite Science Museum: California Science Center
